AFG-3000 Series是一個具備功能強大的任意波形函數信號產生器,他的設計可符合於工業應用以及教育科研使用。這個系列提供了80MHz以及50MHz兩個頻寬,且內建了Sine, Square, Triangle, Ramp, Pulse, Noise等標準信號,且提供AM, FM, FSK, PWM, Sweep, Burst等應用信號以滿足各類波形的需求。
AFG-3000 Series同時提供16 bit高解析度、200MSa/s取樣率以及1M記憶體深度的任意波形編輯功能,且可直接透過直覺式的面板操作來編輯所需的波形,且內建的1M記憶體,可讓使用者進行波形分段存取/輸出,除了可節省記憶體的使用空間外,還可讓使用者儲存更多的波形。DWR功能可直接從GDS-2000系列示波器將波形直接讀出到AFG-3000內,除了不需透過PC連接外,還可讓使用者在進行除錯或測試的時候方便波形描述,避免使用了錯誤的測試條件。
此外,AFG-3000 Series還內建了50 Ohm / Hi-Z Impedance Switch, Online Help Function, 以及Output On/Off Switch等功能讓使用者能夠更便利的操作。透過4.3-inch高解析度的TFT LCD,除了能讓使用者能夠看到更清楚的資訊外,也能將使用者所設定的所有資訊全部顯示出來,讓使用者更清楚目前的設定狀態。前面板的USB Host, 除了能夠進行DWR功能外,還可直接儲隨身碟存取,而背板內建的USB Device, RS-232, 以及GPIB標準介面,除了能夠執行PC端任意波形軟體外,還支援程式庫語法讓使用者進行客製化功能控制。

寬廣的頻率範圍:1uHz ~ 80/50MHz
AFG-3000系列 函數/任意波信號產生器採用直接的數位合成技術(DDS)來產生及輸出各種穩定且精準的波形,頻率*高可達80MHz(AFG-3081)或50MHz(AFG-3051),且頻率解析度*高可達1uHz。內建標準波形有Sine, Square, Triangle, ramp, pulse, noise等種類的波形。

支援多用途變動信號應用(調變, 掃描, Burst)
內建的調變波形可建構在Sine, Square, Triangle, Ramp等波形上,且可調整透過INT/EXT來進行信號調變功能,且提供專屬調變信號輸出埠讓信號更容易取得輸出信號。 accordingly.
PWM to Control & Test the Motor Speed內建的掃描功能可設定為INT/EXT/manual等三種介面出發,且可設定LOG/LIN兩種掃描方式。 Burst功能提供了Gate與N Cycle兩種設定模式, Gate模式可設定內建標準信號(Sine, Square, Triangle, Ramp)的On/Off時間比例,且可透過控制極性(Polarity)或相位(Phase)來進行控制, N cycle模式則可設定相位角度 ,週期次數,週期時間與延遲時間等規格。 -
200MSa/s 高速取樣率
任意波的波形是透過一串的數據點數所組成,輸出的頻率可用取樣率除以波形點數來取得,輸出頻率=取樣率/波形總點數。對*大取樣率為200MSa/s的AFG-3000來說,如果透過兩個點來表示波形,可以產生100MHz訊號,同理,如果取樣率為100MSa/s,則產生的波形為50MHz。舉例來說,當訊號透過100個點來組成,當取樣率越高,所組成的波形頻率也會越高。
越高的取樣率能提供更高的頻率範圍 -
16位元振幅解析度
在16bit的解析下,因為每個點的振幅解析更為細緻,讓波形在呈現時較Smooth,而較低解析度的波形在顯示時可能就會有產生部份的鋸齒狀或者較不Smooth,對於信號的判讀也會有一定的影響。例如1V切成1000個等份(每等份1mV),由於16bit*小是0.15mV,所以切成1000等份的線條看起來就會接近於直線,而12bit*小解析度為2.4mV,無法達到1mV的解析度,在線條上就會有可能造成階梯狀的現象。

可任意定義的1M記憶體深度
Long memory 可儲存更複雜、更多點數的波形資料。AFG-3000提供了1M的記憶體深度,除了具備高彈性的設定功能,可讓使用者在1M的範圍內取任意的點數進行編輯或輸出,除了能提供更多/更長的儲存資料,也可提供記憶體的使用效率;除此之外,機器還能將所設定的輸出範圍換算成輸出頻率,以減少使用者計算的時間。

簡單操作與高彈性的任意波形編輯功能
AFG-3000提供四種方式產生自訂的任意波形, 編輯自訂/PC軟體/檔案載入(.csv)/從GW GDS-2000示波器輸入 前面板編輯操作 AFG-3000提供強大的面板操作設定,提供WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get)的操作方式,從編輯到輸出都可直接透過面板設定完成,除了具備高彈性的編輯方式外,在儲存/輸出等設定下,都可透過立即的圖表顯示讓使用者更容易了解目前波形的狀態與所想要輸出的波形內容。 支援CSV檔案載入 AFG-3000同時也支援CSV檔案編輯,CSV檔案格式可由許多方式取得;從EXCEL試算表, PC端軟體, 或者從AFG-3000儲存。只要將編輯好的CSV檔案透過USB隨身碟或者PC軟體匯入到機器中也可快速取得波形。
支援CSV檔案
可從從數學運算軟體載入波形還原功能(DWR) AFG-3000支援直接與GW GDS-2000系列示波器連接,在不需要PC控制的情況下,直接透過USB Cable將示波器上看到的波形存到AFG-3000的任意波形功能上,且可選擇不同的通道,將所需的波形載入到AFG-3000的記憶體中。這樣的功能能讓工程師更容易進行波形分析。
可直接從GDS-2000系列示波器載入波形配備PC軟體 AFG-3000也配備了專屬的任意波形編輯軟體,PC軟體除了包含AFG-3000面板上所有的功能外,更包含了更多種類的應用波形,如Rayleigh / Gaussian / Normal Noise, Pseudo ternary, Bipolar-AMI, Manchester, Differential Manchester, RS232, NRZ等,且提供數種波形計算與檢視功能,讓使用者能夠更靈活的設計所需要的波形。

阻抗切換/線上幫助
從AFG-3000輸出信號到示波器中往往會發生振幅準位放大約兩倍的情況,這是由於阻抗不匹配的原因,但透過阻抗切換的功能,AFG-3000輸出的振幅將會與示波器的一致,能讓使用者在更容易進行信號判讀。而內建的Online Help功能可讓使用者在不了解AFG-3000的功能時,能夠透過Help讓使用者更容易了解各功能鍵的作用。
